What are the legal requirement of landlords in rhode island for insulation?
legal
Jennifer asked:

It turns out that my apartment has no attic insulation and since I’m on the top floor, I’m basically heating the sky. My gas bills are through the roof for a small apartment. I’m wondering if anyone knows if my landlord has any legal requirements to fix that?

you can talk to your local housing code officer, but it might be a long shot, in the end if you have a few able people, is to make a deal with the landlord, they supply the insulation and you install it , might be worth a try if you bills are way high

Somehow I doubt it, there is no such law in PA and in this city there are plenty of older homes being rented that have no insulation.
