What are the legal terms of being sponsored by a company for cycling?

I want to get sponsored by a company, but i hear there is allot of legal terms and conditions.

I will be cycling with a cycling club like i always do with only be wearing the logo, and i will be cycling in a public place.

Any thing i should know?

    The whole thing is a matter of what level of sponsorship you are getting and the terms of your agreement. There is no one constant as contracts go, I have two sponsors and the terms of contract between them are very different.

    As others have said it all depends on your sponsor’s most of mine just require that I use there products in races and wear a logo on my jersey. That’s for personal sponsors some of my teams have had sponsorships attached as well in those cases I didn’t even have to ride there products though I did remove wheel decals and stuff when not riding sponsors products. Also are you actively racing? I wouldn’t plan on getting too many sponsors if you are just riding your bike in public and entering the occasional CAT 5 race.
