Richieeeee.! asked:

My friend wants to bring me and a few friends to the movies. And he wants to know what the legal amount of passengers a 16 year-old can legally drive somewhere. He doesn’t want to get pulled over and get in trouble for having too many passengers.

If your car holds 4 people you can only have 3 others besides you in it. COMMON SENSE

0 minors, and as many licensed drivers as you want.

If he’s 16, he definitely isn’t allowed to drive. He can try,but not in the public roads, maybe on a field.Anyway, the cinema is on a public road, isn’t it? And it doesn’t matter how many passagers are you carrying. Is all about the age and smart.

depends on where you are, some places say one other person in it thats a minor, or no minors, some say only licensed adults, some say 2 people. look into your state laws.

This question has a different answer in each state and city. In my area it is one other young person other than the driver.
Contact the local police department, they can help you out.

Being 16, he should know that from having just got the lisence. But in wisconsin, the first 9 months you have a lisence you can only have 1 friend in the car.
